A Lakeside Engagement Shoot
Some of the best parts of photography is getting to scout out and find new locations for our clients. After finding out that Julio and Christine got engaged in gorgeous Greece, I knew we had to have a lake side engagement shoot.
Luckily for Eric and I we live in a beautiful town that just happens to have a lake in it, and the stunning Miller Springs Nature Center complete with panoramic views of trees, cliffs and water features. Finishing shooting at Miller Springs Nature Center we hopped into the car and drove a half mile, pulling over to the side of the road, just before the ramp to the dam. Being good sports, we stepped over a railing and walked a few hundred feet over unsteady ground, to look over the lake.
The weather was just right, a gentle breeze moving thorough Christine’s hair, and the sun was hitting that golden hour tone, their clothes even communicated the effortless of the beach. Relaxed and calm, just like the couple.
These have got to be some of our absolute favorite engagements we have taken! You don’t have to be anything but the authentic you, to take a gorgeous picture that you will have for the rest of your life. This was the first time we had shot in this location, and it definitely be back. When you schedule your shoot with us, we WANT to know your love story.
