DARK ROMANCE A STYLED SHOOT
This Dark Romance Styled Shoot at Main Street Hall in Temple, TX features vaulted ceilings, and white washed brick walls in a downtown location
This historical location was the perfect mood for a dark styled shoot.
This former church and theater was built in the late 1800’s, Sarah Hill of Honey Weddings and Events wanted something less light and airy and more substantial.
Black, golden, and rust red tones blended together with a dramatic blush dress. A geometric arch complemented the white walls and black candles twinkled on the floor. The brides bouquet, designed by Wolfe Florist was set with black and white anemones, white roses, and dried eucalyptus, papas grass and feathers, and the cake was a simple but chic three tiered beauty. Designed by Lily’s Cakes, each tier featured a different themed color.
Sarah of Honey Weddings and Events showcased the versatile space using velvet chairs, wooden tables and dark linens in multiple locations from Celebrations Rentals.
And Pignetti’s stayed within the color theme to create a delicious beet wellington and a saffron gnocchi that complemented the dinner table scape.
This styled shoot proves you can have high contrast colors, and dark tones, while still feeling chic and effortless. If you want to go heavy and luxe in places for your wedding, showcase that in your linens and stationary. Think velvet and thick card stock.
Keep makeup light and hair easy, and make sure your dress speaks to you. and if you want a showstopper piece, do that with your bouquet, after all it will be with you all day long.
