The Loft With The Greenlys

Samantha with Rae Allen Photography spent the wedding day at The Loft with the Greenly’s this past April for a urban styled event located in Temple, Texas

The Loft is an urban gem tucked away in historic downtown Temple, Tx. The building is original to the very first Ford dealership in Temple. The vintage charm accompanied by the modern finishes is something a photographer always looks for in a space.

Between the timber beams, exposed brick wall, sanctuary grey floors and large windows this space is perfect for saying “I Do”.  So, spending the day at the Loft with the Greenlys was a perfect way to spend a Saturday, especially in an historic building.

Paper flowers, and shades of teal and blue, set the stage for Tylor and Andromada’s wedding. It was a simple set-up that allowed The Loft to shine. Tall rectangular windows let in beams of light and moody walls were the perfect backdrop for stunning portraits. A gold and teal antique couch was one of the highlights of the bridal suite.

Tylor looked at Andromada walked to him at The Loft. The crowd was calm and happy and you could here the echo’s of their vows being read out. A kissed sealed the deal, and cheers ensued

The studio vibe is not something that you would normally see in a non-large city climate, but The Loft offers a unique setting for couples who want a different style.

After a brief intermission from the ceremony, the reception was a fun filled event full of dancing and fellowship. A separate, brightly filled room had a backdrop hung for guests to take polaroid and write sweet notes to the bride and groom.

But, as per usual, we took a moment to steal away for some outside just married images. The alley has vibrant wall art, full of yellows, blues, reds and more. It was a rainbow of colors. I had the two spin around the backdrop before making our way to the historic Arcadia, which is currently being renovated.

Therefore, the entire street was blocked off for the renovations and we were able to have the space without interruption.

Such a happy day for these two. The simplicity of the wedding allowed Tylor and Andromada to focus on the most important part of the day, which is to just be with each other.
