The quaint Inn at Salado Bed and Breakfast was just the right shade of blush and green for Nicole and Eric’s spring wedding.

Built in 1872 as a private residence, the Inn at Salado has the reputation of being one of the premier B&B’s in the area. Featuring Victorian and classic styling, this location is perfect for intimate weddings for both indoor and outdoor affairs.

Eric and Nicole chose an outdoor ceremony under the canopy of a 200-year-old oak tree, where 80 of their closets family and friends witnessed the union.

Her striking bouquet featured blush colored roses and my personal favorite peonies. Her bridesmaid wore a grey chiffon dress, and the groom and his groomsmen matched in a grey vest with a rose boutonniere.

Eric was all tears when he saw Nicole for the first time. Hand-in-hand, their ceremony was conducted by a close family friend. A kiss and a laughed celebrated the end of the ceremony, and while Eric and I took the newlyweds around the property for portraits, the guests were whisked into the Allen House to begin the wedding party fun.

Nicole and Eric were truly one of a kind clients. Calm, and relaxed their wedding wasn’t about grand items, instead it was about grand gestures, and celebrating with their family. An all-inclusive facility like the Inn at Salado took care of everything, and we were able to capture timeless treasures, because our couple felt special and taken care of. Don’t ever forget that as a bride and groom it is YOUR day. Your day to take it all in, and truly absorb the day as it happens. After all, it is your wedding day.

“Sam and Eric did a wonderful job on our wedding and my bridals! Sam was such a pleasure to work with. She made my bridal session a blast and I loved how we used nature in the photos. She knew every place to go and pose to do. On our wedding day Eric was with the guys and Sam with me. We all had a blast with them, then remembered they were the photographers! They were prompt with time, asked lots of questions, and made sure we were happy before they ever left. Looking at all of our pictures they were EXACTLY what I had dreamed of having for my wedding photos. If I could cover every inch of my walls with them I would… Thank you both, Sam and Eric for your passion. It most definitely reflects in your work.” – Eric & Nicole
