A Micro Spring Wedding

Samantha and Eric with Rae Allen Photography celebrated a micro wedding during the week at one of their favorites, Silo and Oak

Beautiful during the day and even dreamier at night. Silo and Oak, located in Temple, Texas captured James and Jennifer’s heart because of all the ambiance the venue provided. In fact, they made specific notations of taking night portraits during their micro wedding. Something photographers and just married couples don’t usually do.

With a steady hand and a couple who was willing to try different images, Eric and I happily took them around the romantic property. The even had a private dance in the courtyard to celebrate their union.

This Spring wedding was stunning. Pops of pink, blues, greens and finally golden hour glows, was even more beautiful because of the love these two share with one another. A small event doesn’t mean you skimp on the details. Everything was thoughtfully curated., From the table scapes of light floral, pink and blue glassware and cheesecloth runners, to the stellar execution of coordination from the team at Silo and Oak.

From a ceremony bathed in sunlight, to dramatic portraits backlit by the setting sun the Maderakis wedding had all of the lighting options both to challenging and inspire wedding photographers like us.
