A Mid Summer Night’s Wedding

Central Texas Intimate Wedding Photographers at Rae Allen Photography go on location to the Mercury Hall in Austin TX.

Austin photographers, Sam and Eric were excited to shoot this beautiful wedding, because after one postponement, and an elopement with Elle and Henry, the two lovebirds were finally able to have the party they dreamed about.

A light rain during their mid August wedding cooled down the hot city, and created a twinkling dreamscape as the lights reflected off of the stonework. Nestled on a secluded hilltop just minutes from downtown Austin, Mercury Hall offers an idyllic setting of native oaks, and lush bamboo that makes you feel like you are in a forest instead of a urban city.

Rings were exchanged and a kiss sealed the deal, it was time to enjoy a warm evening in the historical chapel.

Elle and Henry are some of the most low key and relaxed people Eric and I have ever worked with. Their wedding reflected that. Simple candle lights, baby’s breath and greenery were the elements of their summer wedding. But of course there were touches that were unique to them. Rhea’s Small batch Ice Cream was a hit of the night and a perfect way to cool down, and if you were feeling peckish there were tacos to snack on at the end of the night. That was a true Texas moment.

But what made their wedding all their own, was that this group of people that danced all night long! The party never seemed like it would have an ending as the group couldn’t seem to pull themselves away from the dance floor and that made for some epic imagery.

A bubble exit and a little time under the twinkle lights was the perfect way to end one stunning night.
