I have known Hailee since we were children. We actually grew up playing soccer together. When her and her husband gave me a call to take her maternity session photos for their first child I was delighted.
I knew I wanted something that was filled with greenery and new life. The Arboretum, known as the “Hidden Jewel of Woodway” showcases a certified Monarch Way-station, a koi pond, fountains, rose garden, and a meditation garden.
A warm day didn’t slow us down. We walked thru the gardens taking our time, enjoying all the arboretum had to offer. I told a friend recently that I didn’t ever realize how much I would enjoy maternity sessions, but
everyone that I have shot is such a peaceful experience, and I have noticed that all of my future mommas seem completely at ease. Therefore, shooting maternity sessions have become such a special part of Rae Allen, I don’t think I could ever turn one down.
When the film came back, it took my breath away. Golden light, pink roses, green ivy backdrops popped against Hailee’s burgundy dress. A special session for a most special family.
